Tempting as it is, running is not just about buying a pair of trainers and getting out there. It requires great skill and practice.
There are more 5km & 10km races in existence and the transition benchmark from Sprint to Olympic distance is now quickly being attacked by the rise of 70.3 and full ironman distances, emphasising the importance of good fundamental techniques to prevent injury.
There is also a lot of information in the popular press on Pose & Chi methods of running. These methods employ the basic principles of how we should run and highlight the benefits of mid/fore foot strike running above that of the heel striker. However, these are methods that we need to learn how to apply because if not, we will end up in pain and more often than not, injured.
By examining the modernistic concepts to running and applying our principles for change, our Running Workshops deliver a combined fresh approach, allowing you to make significant changes to your running with ease and attain maximum reward for your efforts.
Whether your goal is to run for stress reduction or to increase your performance, engage with our running workshop sessions and learn to run more efficiently and minimise your risk of injury.
For dates of our forthcoming Workshops please refer to events or contact us.

In some cases, we recommend a full gait analysis or Biomechanical Movement Assessment. Very popular and beneficial to runners at all levels, this thorough movement analysis can lead to massive improvements to comfort, pace, technique and ultimately speed and efficiency.
Another vital consideration is your footwear. Exercising in the wrong training shoes can put your body under strain and you under increased risk of injury. This Assessment is also the best way to ensure you have the correct choice of footwear.
